This thread will be a list for everybody who wants chip in some money towards a team for the Hawks Nest.(we don't know if we'll get one or not, but if we do, we need to know where the money is coming from) If you are interested, please leave the amount you'll offer in this thread. IF...IF...IF...this works, I say we should put up a poll and make ONE tiny suggestion as to who we would want drafted first. Then pass that on to whoever is going to coach them. Of course, we can't run the thing...by why not start with either the guy we want drafted or a controversy as to firing the coach. And, I promise to make a fool out of myself at least once. Comes naturally to me. Dan L

I still think we ought to fundraise for an overage to what is needed for sponsorship. Extra money could be used for any of a variety of purposes that are deemed legal by Larson. Obviously, nothing for the players, except equipment, legal clothing, mementos or other perks. But for owners. It is traditional to lavishly swim in self-indulgence. Ownerships keepsake shirts, name on front, roster in small letters. Championship rings, ha. A banner for our seating area or just to wave the flag. Could we pay for a banquet for the players at the end of the season? I'm sure you all can come up with other well-deserved owner perks should we over fundraise. Also ideas for fundraising (get together drinks after games or elsewhere in the country where $1 goes in the ownership kitty for each drink consumed).
