I was blessed with a link to this forum and after a good thirty minutes of procrastinating and subsequently screwing myself in the process by being incredibly unprepared for Hell Week (also known as "finals").
Anyway, my name is Laura and I'm about to turn 20 years old. I am originally from Rome, Georgia; born and raised. At the age of 17 I was shipped off to a treatment facility after two years of abusing drugs on a level that few will ever know. I realize that this might be a little too much information, but I'm bored. What can I say?
So yeah, I spent eleven months in Vermont at said facility before my parents realized that this school was (and is) extremely corrupt. I moved to Charleston, SC in August of 2006 and finished up high school over the course of a year. I had to repeat my junior year after skipping too much class, so it's needless to say that I was thrilled when I graduated, perhaps even moreso than your average 18 year old. Around the time I graduated I was accepted into my college of choice: The University of Mississippi. I am about to finish up my first semester, thank God. The past three and a half months have been a blur though... it's nuts.
Okay so I defnitely realize this was a ridiculously in depth. My apologies. Perhaps this intro will become a source of time-passing material for someone else out there.
So yeah, I'm officially here. Goodnight folks.
